With a soldier son hoping to return home from Afghanistan for Christmas, a daughter on the West Coast finishing final  exams, and younger children preparing for a Christmas pageant, the holiday  season for this “typical” American family can get pretty hectic. This  delightfully touching musical follows their journey from the day after  Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve, as they surmount the challenges of modern  life and rediscover the true meaning of Christmas and the blessings of family.
