ELMSFORD -  A little slice of Broadway is coming to Westchester County.

After more than a thousand performances on The Great White Way, "In the Heights" is set to debut at the Westchester Broadway Theatre in Elmsford.

The musical opened on Broadway in 2008 and was nominated for 13 Tony Awards, winning four, including best musical. "We felt that this was a really important story to bring to Westchester. It's all about family and community. It's a very old-fashioned themed musical, but it's with contemporary music and contemporary dance," says director John Fanelli.

The show opens on Feb. 7 and runs until March 17.
