Tyler Johnson-Campion as No Mo!
I grew up in Louisville Kentucky. I have a twin brother a little brother and a little sister and I was adopted by two wonderful men! My family loved going to the theatre and was super supportive of the arts! The rest is history!
I started tap dancing when I was 3 years old and I started singing not too long after. For years I didn’t know There was a way to do both at the same time. They were always separate things to me. Then I got cast in the first musical “the Wiz” and learned that I could combine all of my lives into one art form. I then went to the Youth Performing Arts High School where I met some amazing mentors and I majored in acting, and minored in musical theatre.
I saw a listing for an EPA for 5 Guys named Moe on the Actors Equity Website one day. I had never done the show before but I knew the title song and read the Character breakdown and decided to go to the audition! I think my favorite part of the show is either watching Quentin sing ‘Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying’, or dancing with everyone during "Life is So Peculiar"! I also love every second of “Ain't Nobody Here But Us Chickens”. Also these 5 boys I perform with everyday are some of the best humans on earth! It is an absolute blast to sing and dance with them every night!
I really have too many favorite shows but the ones that immediately come to mind are: The Falsettos, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, On the Twentieth Century, and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying! To try and pin point just one dream role is also super hard but I would love to play Bobby Child in Crazy for You or Cornelius Hackle in Hello Dolly!
This is my first time at WBT! I love the people and the atmosphere!
When I am not onstage I normally at the gym or in a dance class. I love choreographing tap dances with my tap crew, and goofing around and laughing with my friends! Laughter is the best medicine in the world.
I listen to all kinds of music! I love pretty much all genres. I sort of perpetually listen to Original Cast Recordings. But Right now I am in a Elton John and George Michael phase, but my favorites are normally Demi Lovato and Arianna Grande!
