John Scherer will star as George M Cohan in GEORGE M!  at WBT
I grew up in Buffalo, NY. My dad was a librarian and my mom managed a bowling alley.
I started doing theatre as a kid- I played a lost boy in Peter Pan. I played Slightly Soiled- the dirty lost boy. Bonnie Franklin was Peter.
I first heard of George M when I did the show when I was in junior high. I played the ventriloquist's dummy and was a dancer. As an adult I played George M
at the Goodspeed Opera House.
My favorite shows that I've done.... By Jeeves and Sunset Boulevard on Broadway. Also love doing George M- one of my favorite roles ever.
When not onstage I like to go to the movies and long dinners with friends. Also I still love going to tap class, which I do almost daily.
On my iPod?- lots of folk music actually....David Wilcox and Cheryl Wheeler.

Erin McCracken says "Tracy is full of optimism and possibility. I liked the vulnerability in (her). No matter how many times she gets beat down, she just picks herself right back up again. She’s always trying to do her best. I am so excited to be here and to be able to play my dream role."
