Meet Jayson Elliott playing Nicely Nicely

I grew up in a small town in Indiana. "Anytown USA" small high school, a movie theatre with 2 screens, basketball hoops in every driveway, and lemonade stands. I really fell in love with acting in High school. Our theatre director was really good about exposing us to as many forms of live performance as possible. I've know of the show for years, as long as I can remember. I think it was special to me (and I know this sounds simple) because it's about GUYS. Dudes. This is my first crack at Nicely Nicley.

In my opninion Westchester Broadway Theatre's production values, direction, stage management and crew as a whole is always top notch. I was in the Full Monty and Christmas Voyager. I love the film Guys and Dolls! Sinatra and Brando are iconic! I think movie musals are allowing more people to be exposed to musical theatre and hopefully, it will encourage them to see it live. I really enjoy doing Dave in the Full Monty, The Big Bopper in The Buddy Holly Story, Barfee in Spelling Bee, and I am very excited to add Nicely Nicely to that list.

When I'm not on stage I really enjoy listening to and playing music, playing golf...all sports really, and spending time with friends. Some of the most played music on my IPod is The Avett Brothers, Old Crow Medicine Show, Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, Jerry Garcia, Mumford and Sons... I could keep going... Haha.

Meet Allie Schauer playing Miss Adelaide

I grew up in Fargo, ND.  Fargo is very friendly and very cold!  My childhood was a blast.  I was always involved in theatre and loved auditioning for musicals whenever possible.  I started dancing and taking voice lessons when I was 14.  In high school, I attended a local summer performing arts school called TrollwoodPerforming Arts School.  They had/have amazing teachers there and I think that really helped prepare me to pursue a career in performing.I ended up going to college at Concordia College for Music Education in a town right next door, Moorhead, MN.

Iíve always loved performing so much! I was very focused and obsessed with it in high school, but was never quite sure if I was good enough to move to New York and do it professionally.  Moving out to New York was always a dream of mine, but I never really knew for sure if it would happen.  New York seemed pretty scary coming from Fargo, but a few students at Trollwood had moved there and they inspired me to do the same.  My parents were always very supportive and my college voice teacher, Karen Hamilton, was really influential and gave me the confidence to make the move. She believed in me from the start, even when I didn't believe in myself. My parents were also very supportive. They have always wanted me to pursue my dream career.  I would have never made it out here without the three of them.

I was in the ensemble of Guys and Dolls in College and I've always loved this show and loved the role of Adelaide, so I'm really excited to get to play her.  This will be my third show at the WBT. I really enjoy working here. Everyone is so nice and so supportive, hence why I keep coming back! :) I'm very thankful for the WBT for this opportunity. I love the movie, and I love when they make musicals into films. It's never quite as good as seeing a show live, but it's a great way for people to be exposed to musical theater.

love Funny Girl and would love to play Fannie Brice.  I also love Les Miserables. So good!  Iíd also love to play Ado Annie in Oklahoma.

When Iím not on stage, I teach voice, dance, and piano lessons. I like to watch Law and Order SVU and the Food Network and bum around on facebook. Sleeping is nice too.  I mostly, though, enjoy spending time with friends and my amazing husband!
I like all kinds of music.  I love me some Beyonce and any current Pop or Rockmusic.  I like Country too. I also listen to a lot of Praise and Worship music.

Meet Gary Lynch as Sky Masterson in 'Guys and Dolls'!

I grew up in Cranston, RI, right outside of Providence. My Dad was a school teacher and Athletic Director in the city, He coached high school Football and Swimming winning many championships. He had an extremely successful career and has been nationally recognized in both sports by USA Football and The Swimming Hall of Fame. My mom owned many businesses and is a professional artist. I grew up with in Sports and Art... :)

What Influenced me to be an actor? Growing up with Sports and Art...My injuries, but mostly my skills prevented me to a professional career in sports... so I choose acting...lol ...Many people along the way have influenced and inspired me on this journey from my parents, my teachers, my directors and my peers ...it's a never ending learning experience..;) it's called LIFE

I have done 2 productions of Guys and Dolls, my first at the North Carolina Theater in Raleigh, directed by Terrance Mann and the second at San Jose Civic Light Opera directed by Patti D'Beck...both times as Sky Masterson. Both wonderful experiences. I am so looking forward to my 3rd production with my friend Richard Stafford. :) 3rd
times the charm! :) and great to revisit a role I haven't done in a while with some new perspective.

I've done a few productions here at WBT, my first was Little Shop of Horrors in 1987 directed by George Puello, then again in 2007directed by Patti Wilcox, both as Orin Scrivello DDS and everyone else.. great fun!!!! , the Christmas show in 1988 directed by the late great Richard Casper, Sugar (Joe /Josephine) directed by Charlie Repole in 2010, George M (Sam Harris) in 2012, Miracle on 34th St (Mr. Macy) in 2012.....both directed by the multi- talented Richard Stafford..:) I have always enjoyed working with everyone here, they are good people, good friends and it is home.... ;)

My favorites shows: many...but, I spent 6 years in the Broadway Company of Les Miserables...it was more than a show it was and IS my extended family. Mamma Mia almost 5 years, again more than just a show...and it was great fun to be part of something original and new. My dream role is waiting to be born...I love working on new projects and to be the first to put a stamp on it! But really its about the people you work with, the cast, the crew; the friendships you form and all the camaraderie that make a show more than a show... :)

I teach classes and I'm the artistic director for the black box project at the NJ School of Dramatic Arts, right now I'm in pre production to direct a play; Bedroom Stories by Norm Foster ...I also love cooking... watch all the cooking shows, and sometimes do the "chopped" scenario in my house...I have these ingredients, what can I do? and how creative can I be?....,and will it taste good?! lol

On my Ipod? Everything from Sinatra to Clapton to Show tunes to Stevie Ray Vaughn ....right now.... I'm listening to the Eagles...Hotel California...
