LOCAL DANCERS, MUSICIANS AND SINGERS TO JOIN TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE THE
LIFE AND WORK OF PERFORMER DORINA DI LULLO  IN  ONE NIGHT ONLY TRIBUTE CONCERT
AT WESTCHESTER BROADWAY THEATRE ON
JUNE 17, 2013 AT 7PM.

An evening of memories and entertainment in honor of Dorina DiLullo

A bright light and close friend of the New York theater community, peers and performers will collaborate in a one night only cabaret style performance to honor Dorina Di Lullo, who passed away unexpectedly on March 28, 2013 at the age of 44. Survived by her husband Charles J. Richardson and two sons, Charlie and Bennett, all proceeds from this concert will go directly to the Dorina Di Lullo Memorial Trust, set up to lend aid to her children and loved ones in the wake of her passing.

Performers will re-create and pay tribute to the work and repertoire of Dorina at the Westchester Broadway Theatre, a venue at which Di Lullo starred in Smokey Joe's Cafe, Oliver and The Full Monty, among others. Citing specific work of Dorina through past footage and audio, much of her theatrical contributions will be restaged along side of the use of such media to contrast the legacy in which she leaves behind to audiences and peers. Students from  Westchester's On Hudson Dance and Karate School and Central Park Dance, where Dorina was a teacher for over ten years, will perform excerpts from Di Lullo's favorited work, as well as performers from the Lighthouse Youth Theatre, where Dorina was a director and teacher.

Local musicians and friends of Dorina will re-unite the rock band that had played several successful benefit concerts through Saw Mill Theater with Dorina as one of it's leading vocalists over the past 6 years. All of its original members, including Brian Gallagher, fresh from Broadway's revival Jeklyll and Hyde, will play for its seventh and most important cause yet, as past shows have raised over $150,000 for The Children's Village, Richmond Community Services, and The SPCA of Westchester.

Musical medleys and selections will be  also be sung from some of Broadway’s most noted shows by members of local theater companies; West Side Story, Tommy and Kiss of the Spiderwoman. Pieces from Chess, Children of Eden and the original musical, Parusia, written by George Puello will also be performed. Each of these pieces will highlight and celebrate the roles that Di Lullo was most known for throughout her performing career.

This one night only performance will take place on June 17 at 7pm at the Westchester Broadway Theatre, located at 75 Clearbrook Road in Elmsford New York. There will be a Cocktail reception and silent auction at 6pm.  Individual tickets are priced at $40.
