Dickens; I would like to compliment you, your staff, your cast. This is one of the best shows I have ever seen in Elmsford.
Fanelli: Thank you once again.
Dickens; I had the roast beef for dinner. Did you know that the price of your ticket covers both dinner and the show? And there’s free parking, too?
Fanelli: Of course I knew!
Dickens; Sorry. I figured you did. “Happiness is a gift and the trick is not to expect it, but to delight in it when it comes.”
Fanelli: I agree.
Dickens: This show “Oliver” at the Westchester Broadway Theatre is, as the song says, in “Reviewing the Situation” I “Consider Myself” a fan. I just might take my friends Tolkien and Tolstoy to the show next week. I wish to see it again!
Fanelli: You are a gentleman.
Dickens; I can’t understand why people would go to Broadway to see “Annie” or “Matilda” when young actors appear on stage at WBT who are their equals or better in talent!
Fanelli: I agree.
Dickens; In closing, sir, may I say “It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known.” I mean, to See your wonderful production of “Oliver” at the Westchester Broadway Theatre!
Fanelli: It’s been a pleasure meeting you, Mr. Dickens.
Dickens: For me, too, Mr.Fanelli. God Speed.
